What ages does Inspire cater for?

We accept children from kindergarten to Year 6.

What time does Inspire finish?

Parents should pick up children by 6.00pm.

What form of martial arts do you teach?

Our martial arts program is based on taekwondo. We have created a program that is fun and engages kids, which is based on the Word Taekwondo format.

Is the martial arts program safe?

Yes, our program is strictly non-contact! Kids at inspire learn new skills and build confidence in a non-threatening environment where they feel safe.

What are the qualifications of the Inspire team?

The Inspire team brings an array of experience and skills to ensure your child’s time at Inspire is rich and rewarding.

Our team includes experienced child care workers, primary school teachers, black belt martial arts instructors and undergraduates who are passionate about working with kids. All our staff:

  • Undertake a comprehensive induction process
  • Receive regular and consistent training
  • Must provide at least 2 references, and have a Working with Children Check before starting with Inspire
  • Are trained in child protection, and are mandatory reporters

As well as this, every single Inspire centre has staff that are qualified in First Aid including qualifications in CPR and dealing with anaphylaxis.

What is Inspire’s staff to child ratio?

Inspire maintains a staff ratio of at least 1 staff member for every 10 children (but often the amount of staff is even more than this!).

Inspire invests in higher staff numbers, as we know it is key to providing a quality and engaging program.
