The Before & After School Voucher has been extended
Good news! Families now have until 31st January 2023 to apply for and redeem their voucher with their chosen childcare provider.
Families can use the $500 Before & After School Care (BASC) vouchers to reduce the cost of childcare for children aged 4 - 13 that attend primary school in NSW. The voucher is eligible to be used for after school care, before school care and vacation care this upcoming summer holidays.
You can also share unused BASC vouchers digitally with another person (such as a babysitter, grandparent or separated parent) using the Service NSW app – but it can only be used for the child named on the voucher.
If you missed out previously or have a child starting Kindergarten in 2023, you can now apply for their $500 BASC voucher up until 31st January 2023.
